Born and raised in Charleston, SC but living outside of Atlanta (conyers)
I moved to Atlanta to go to college (CAU) and graduated with my Bachelors in Business concentrating on marketing and management.
Got married, lost my Grandma, Mom, Aunt, and an Uncle in one year. Then a few years later I lost my husband. Yeah it’s been tough but I have learned to not let grief stop me from living my life.
Did I mention I have churn (a geechee word)? Yes, two teens for now so I’m pretty much freeish. I just leave them and they gotta call me and ask where I’m at.

How I discovered My Passion For pHotography
Here is a little back story on my journey….
Back in 2009 my daughter was born and I wanted to get photos done of her monthly because I had done it with my son. My husband and I ran into some financial struggles so I coudn’t afford to take photos of her. So around income tax time my husband said buy a camera with the money and take the photos yourself. I laughed thinking he was joking and he wasn’t. So I bought my first camera a canon t3i and took photos of eveything. I used to be a blogger and one of my old blog buddies asked me to take her enagement photos and I did it for $25. She is still my client to this day!
I didn’t realize that my mom also loved photographs. She had about 20 photo books from the time I was born up until the time she died. It makes me feel closer to her and I felt a calling to start doing photos for people at a budget friendly price because I didn’t want anyone to have any excuses on why they couldn’t take the photo.
I started off doing event photography but most people booked me for family photos so I became that. I do still do events, Seniors, and I work with small businesses doing their brand work.
