Who doesn’t love family game night? Well, when it comes to Uno I don’t play with certain people because they take that game way to seriously. Folks are cutthroat trying to win and the switching of hands and cheating chile I ain’t got time so I always opt out of Uno for the most part when it comes to playing that on Family game night but I wanted to share some of my other favorite games that I like to play when you are trying to find something to do that’s fun and won’t bring out fighting words like Uno or Spades. Here are a few of my favorite family games that I love to play.
This game was a little hard to understand at first. We had to watch a youtube video about 3 times but we finally got it after we played one fake round just to make sure. Once you get the hang of it it’s easy and pretty fun. We like to switch out the cards and most of the time we don’t know who the chameleon is especially if they go last. Pick this game up for your next family game night.
Another fun game that my family and I love to play. We’ve played so much that I think we have played the entire box twice. It’s easy but watch folks cause we have had to ban folks from acting it out. Like y’all can’t do that. It’s a giveaway but I love to play this game. My team knows if I’m on there we will win because I give one word and boom we got it.
This one is good and it’s more of a thinking game. We love to play this to wind down after a game of yelling and teams because you on your own with this one.
Great game to play with teens. You get to find out some things without directly asking them questions. It’s eye-opening to see their opinions on things we think they don’t know about. We played and one of the questions was about drinking and we found out some thangs we wish we didn’t know which led to a great discussion in the middle of the game. Play this one if teens or young adults are around.
Of course you have your reg games like Monopoly (long but great to play) tik tok games like match the cup, and of course uno but please play the old school rules *raises eyes*, family feud, etc. Whatever games you like to play take the time to spend with your family at least once a month cause outside is expensive.
