I’m trying to do simple but impactful things to help me in my everyday life. Here are a few things I’m doing that may help you.
Go through your emails and put unsubscribe in your search bar…then unsubscribe
Set 10 min aside each day to do something you love. Read, play with the kids, clean something in your home, etc.
Ask questions, and listen to the answers. Sometimes the answers are in the silence you get too
Keep your keys in the same spot. Trying to teach my kids this so things don’t just go missing. Ideally don’t keep your keys next to your garage door I’ve heard that’s how they steal your car.
Cook something new weekly. Or drink something new from Starbucks either works
If you are tired take a nap but set a timer
Listen to albums you loved as a teenager it will change your whole mood or make you mad but either way, it’s good to listen to good music cause that mess out here today is a no fa me
Make a friend from a different decade
Don’t know if you want to purchase something? Wait at least 3 days then see if you still want it as bad

I’ve been rediscovering my favorite songs from my youth. It definitely hits differently now that I’m 42. Some songs are amazing and make me feel happy, and some songs I can’t listen to because it brings up bad memories. Lol But you’re right about a lot of this new music– it’s garbage. Haha! We old now??!
I’ve also been listening to more classical and jazz music lately.
