I haven’t been in Walmart but twice this entire year. It’s ghetto in there it doesn’t matter which one you go into. I keep it real but occasionally I gotta get something from there and I will admit their clothes section has stepped it up a bit cause for a minute their outfits were ugly. That’s not what we are here to talk about though we wanna talk about Walmart +. I have Instacart and use them a lot and at first, I was like I don’t need Walmart+ because Walmart is within walking distance of me and I can do an order and pick it up if I need something so why bother getting and paying for plus. I was reluctant to get a Walmart+ account because I thought it would be a waste of money so did it finally win me over?
I was hosting my daughter and her friends one day and Instacart had no openings. I didn’t want to pile all the girls in my car to run and get snacks so I decided to take the plunge and get the subscription to Walmart. I figured I could use it for one month and cancel just to try it out since I never did. I have seen lots of influencers post about Walmart and the benefits but I was like chile y’all paid to say that I’m not (although there may be an affiliate in here it’s not an influencer type gig for me because I am not here to tell y’all what the company wants me to say) so I said I need snacks for them and it was raining all week it would help if I had Walmart and Instacart.
I got the subscription and I was shocked y’all that they did a better job at substituting and making sure my order was correct than Instacart. I have been ordering things from there like batteries, my daughter’s chocolate frosted flakes, my kind ice cream bars, and other random bullshat items that I need right at the moment like batteries. It actually came in handy and it did win me over. I hate to admit it but some of the influencers were right it’s a winner for me and cheaper for some stuff. Now I do hate that random folks drop off Walmart as big as they are they should have their own drivers but I will have to deal with that. So far I like it especially for household items that you need at the last min.
Do you have a Walmart+ account? What items do you get from them often that you can’t find everywhere?
