Food Hopping in Atlanta: One Roof, Endless Flavors, Zero Regrets

Y’all know the food sucks here in Atlanta I’m sorry if you didn’t know. It’s a few places that are decent but nowhere yet that makes me want to go 3 or 4 times a month. The other day a friend invited us out with her to a new food hall here in Atlanta. I’m weary of all of them so I was like hmm do I wanna go but we decided to throw on some clothes and join her at the new one on Moreland. First thank you for building something on the east side cause we needed it. The spot is called Halidom Eatery. I just called it the H. So let’s go food hopping in Atlanta under one roof with endless flavors and zero regrets.

The place is clean which I love. They have a lot of different options for you to eat from pizza to hotdogs and then you can get a little seafood and a little Indian with a touch of coffee and drinks. We had the kids with us so we divided and conquered since there were 4 of us we decided to each eat at 2 places so that we could taste as many places as we could. I started off with the french fries at Buena Papa Fry Bar. OMG….

That spot needs its own paragraph. Imma give it to you. I tried the Americano, my daughter loved it so much she went back and got the Carolina fries. They were so good and the spot was the busiest. I loved it so much that I have already been there twice…maybe 3 times. No one is counting. If you go don’t blame me if you get addicted.

Next, I tried the Just Dogs Atl. I made my own hot dog because you can pick and choose what you want. The hot dog was excellent and now I don’t want my boring ole hot dog anymore. The kids tried the Wasabi and the Indian Grill and they loved it. My friend had Deallo’s Seafood and Luze Mexicano her Shrimp and Grits….excellent. I had a drink from the bar and then got me a sweet treat from Press Waffle.

The entire place was an experience. They have days where you can come in the evenings for different events and you can rent out sections for parties too that is nice because everyone can get what they want and you don’t have to worry about trying to please tastebuds. Also, bonus parking is free. It’s also a great spot to take photos and as a bonus you can bring your computer there to work I spied a few plug outlets inside that you can plug into.

Those Carolina Fries look so good! When I used to visit Atlanta for the summer, my dad would take me and my sister to this hot dog place. I think it was right outside of Ft. Gillem. Wonder if it’s still there? You describing Just Dogs ATL reminded me of that. 🙂
