Ooohhh Spooky Friday the 13th. Is it good luck or bad? Most of the time I forget what the date of the day is unless I have to write something so it doesn’t matter to me. I think we make our own luck won’t you say. Welcome back to my series where I talk about a movie, a TV show, or an article weekly and give my take on it with a look into my top 3 things of the week which are random and fun. This week we are going to talk about the Beckhams cause David knows he fine and his wife is a bit posh and stuck up but I think she wants people to perceive her that way and I wonder why. It’s Finally Friday, Oct. 13th let’s get into it.
So I watched the Beckhams on Netflix last week. He has always been fine he just has a swagger about him that says I know I’m the shat and I don’t care what you think. To see a whole country mad at him though I was like wow that’s a bit much lol. Folks over there take their soccer (football) seriously but they do so over here in America too. I’m not a sports fan but there are a few names that stand out to me and David Beckham is one of them. I learned 2 things from his documentary….always do what you want to do no matter who says otherwise as long as you can back that shat up. If you gonna be a badass and talk shat…make sure you can do the work behind it. The second thing I learned is that you gotta adapt to your surroundings. Life can put you in some uncomfortable positions and you have to learn how to adapt to each one. He adapted to moving his career to a whole new country and then coming to the US all while being humble and respectful. This is a great lesson in life.
Overall the Document gets a 9/10 for me. I would have liked to see more of his life outside of football but it was great to get to know him and his OCD ways lol.
My top 3 of the week…….
My top 3 favorite people in sports
Domonique Dawes – watching her as a little black girl I was like OMG we can actually do that all the flipping and stuff. She was the icon and passed the baton well.
Kobe Bryant – His hard work paid off and he was gone too soon. I remember that day I thought they surely had the wrong person. I used to play bball and he was one of my idols. Miss him dearly but his legacy lives on
Coach Prime – Now I watched him back when he played for the Dallas Cowboys he has always been different. To see him shine again is funny to me. With his ole Leo ass. They all act like that too. He drops some good ass bars too.
