I’m back with the 10 on 10 things prompt that is hosted by Marsha. It’s a prompt that I do on the 10th of every month, and it’s a great way to get to know me and my personality. Helps if you want to hire me for your photoshoot because there is nothing like not knowing who is shooting your family. This month’s prompt is 10 things I’m not proud to admit I enjoy…I have a love hate relationship with these things but hey that’s what makes me different.

Sunflower seeds – I will eat 3 bags and even pay my daughter 10 bucks to get hers when she doesn’t eat them fast enough. Talk about inflation but I love me some sunflower seeds. My mom told me when I was little that if I kept eating them, I would turn into a sunflower….well mom I have not *sticks tongue up to heaven*
Sweets – I’m pre diabetic, so sweets aren’t good for me but if that hot sign is on at Krispy Kreme I’m crossing a few lanes to get to it. Sweets are addictive and I must get control of it.
Rap music – I’m talking, I will blast it like a young child. While I do tone it down sometimes, I feel the gangsta in me wanting me to come ou,t and I play it…loud. In the car and at home. The more cursing the better.
Watching crime shows – People are worried about me. Any man that I talk to, I let them know up front I am a crime show finatic they usually run the opposite way. I don’t blame them. I will look stuff up and try to play detective; it’s fun, and I love it.
Being nosy when it comes to my kids bf’s and gf’s – Both of my kids are dating my son is 19 and my daughter is 16. I like to ask lots of questions so who is the guy/girl, and where are they from? Give me their name. Who are their parents? I want my kids to have the best relationships possible, and while I know it’s none of my business, I still will want to put my two cents in lol
Texting – I hate talking on the phone. I’ll even email you back and fort,h old schoo,l before we get on the phone. I will get on the phone for something quick but I don’t like long conversations. Get to the point and I feel like texting does that.
Heat- My mom didn’t have central air and heat when I was growing up and we were to poor to get it in the houe so we had kerosene stoves and a fireplace. We had to carry the stove from room to room to sleep because it was so cold. These days I love heat and will even put the heater on in the summer.
My house -I know there are people who are never home. They like to go go go but I love my houe and I am in it every chance I can get. I pay a mortgage I will be in my home more than I am outside.
Road Trips – I have been on a plane, and while it gets you there faste,r there is nothing like a good old car road trip. I can stop in different towns and sight see betterr. Also, I can bring all the things there and back. I have driven from Atlanta to New York and even as far west as Texas. Love me a good road trip.
The smell of coffee – I love the smell but don’t drink it much. I don’t know the smell of coffee makes me want to just get up and do some work. I will always sit in a coffee shop and while I may order decaf every now and again I’m ok with just smelling the smell.

I will agree with you on sweets, crime shows, being nosy about my people, being on the phone (hate it unless I’m messing with a spammer), my house (sometimes, road trips, and the smell of coffee. I don’t like the taste at all, and I’ve tried it with all the fancy additives. Nope…still tastes like coffee! I’m so glad you joined me again! I just couldn’t keep it up at the end of the year last year, but this is a new year!
