We are back like we never left with our Finally Friday series. My kids have fall break next week so I may take a break from posting so if you see me skip a week just know I’m relaxing but I am so loving this series. Last week I gave my opinion on Equalizer 3 and this week I am going to give my opinion on this YouTube video that talks about the most faked foods in the world. Let’s get right into this weeks it’s finally Friday: sept. 15th.
So I know a lot of foods are faked. Let me tell you I started to pay attention when I saw a clip on tilapia fish years ago and they said that was a man made fish…I was like come again. That’s not a real fish chile I stopped eating tilapia that day. Real fish meaning it’s not found in the wild. I like wild seafood myself.
Maple syrup is fake I knew that I try to make sure I read the ingredients before I buy it. I get my maple syrup from the farmers market and I’m looking for high fructose on anything I buy at the grocery store. I also think that some things we think are non-gmo or healthy aren’t really what it says it is. I think it’s just a way to make consumers think it’s healthier and spend more…but what do I know?
The parmesan cheese though makes me cry. I love parmesan cheese but after watching this video I now see that I have been eating a lot of wood pulp. Watch the video and tell me what you think about the foods we eat and consume.

My favorite quick meals (since we are talking about food)
Tacos (every Tuesday we have these and I just switch the meat)
Philly Cheesesteak – my cheat code I buy the lond broil boards head meat from the deli shaved. Add in my peppers, onions, and mozzarella cheese (provolone is fine also) and saute it like I’m cooking a Philly. My Philly people will die if they see this but it’s whatever. You can also make this recipe with the same meat.
Pizza – I buy the dough from the grocery store and all I have to do is spread it out and put my own toppings on it. Papa Johns is cute but sometimes you want your own pizza and make it your way.
