August said eff all y’all we out. That’s just how August felt. Welcome to Friday and welcome to September. I like September its a month where it cools down just a little and everyone is settling for the Fall. I don’t like Fall the colors are nice but give me warmth. If you are new here we do this series every Friday where we highlight a movie, article, or some bullshat that’s going on in the world and I give my opinion on it + I share my top 3 of the week. If you missed last weeks post here it is. Let’s get into it and talk about Instacart today.
I have a love hate relationship with Instacart. I love them because it helps me out as a single mom but I hate them because they hire folks who can’t get it right. I usually have to babysit the app to ensure the person doesn’t replace things with bullshat. If I ask for 1 pound of apples why are you giving me 1 apple? If I ask for almond milk you really gonna sit there and tell me there is no almond milk in the store. GTFOH like for real. Walmart does a better job and ion even like dem. How you let Walmart outdo you. The app has potential but they need to hire people who do a better job. I saw this article and didn’t realize that people use instacart as their full time job. I would never do that it’s more of a hustle job but you gotta do what you gotta do. If they can maybe have select shoppers that we can pick from that would be good. I have resorted to only using them if I have to and just sending my kids in the store or I go and grocery shop myself (which I hate grocery shopping). Have you used Instacart? Places to grocery shop
The Dekalbs farmers market- weekday early mornings are the best times to go. They have the freshest meats
Publix – What can i say I used to work there so I am biased. If I can’t get to the farmer’s market I shop there
Whole Foods – None near me but if I’m by one I do grab some items. They are expensive but the quality is worth it (I usually stick to the top two)
Bonus: I like Market Wagon if you have this in your area try them out .
