You can do something that AI can’t: Build a community.

So here we are using AI on a daily basis to help us with business and life. People are putting their dreams into Chatgpt and getting a whole layout of their dreams. I did it…I admit it didn’t give me what I needed but it was cute. I prefer to talk to my friends about dreams or a coach to get what I truly need. The tools and the steps to grow as a person. AI can do a lot but you can do something that AI can’t: Build a community.

Ai can do a lot. I’ve used it to create blog post ideas, captions for Instagram, and summaries of books, my kids have used it to do stuff in school instead of doing the work (side eye). You can use it for so much but still prefer a human aspect to things. My blog posts are written by me, I take the captions AI gives me and rewrite it in my voice. I admit I didn’t want to get on board with AI but it’s something you gotta do if you want to grow.

My top 3 AI platforms are

Gemini (google) – I like them better than ChatGPT personally it gives me more because it’s Google duh

Claude ai – I use this to give me Instagram captions it works wonders.

Perplexity ai – I use this to summarize articles

I don’t really use chatgpt much but I have used it.

AI can’t write in your voice and be you. You build the community. Your voice makes you stand out because using AI will have you sounding like everyone else…like a robot…I meant that figuratively.

This will be a AI-free website.

Here is how I built my community.

  1. Find like-minded people who fit who you are. I know I don’t gel well with the younger folks so I intentionally look and follow people who are in my age range.
  2. engage. Engage. En…GAGE. Go on people’s website and speak to them. Go on their social media page and talk to them. Go on their blog posts and speak. Comment on their YouTube page. You have to talk to people in order for people to talk to you back.
  3. Polls and quizzes: Create engaging, interactive content that encourages participation and discussion.
  4. Theme days: Designate specific days for themed content, like “Motivational Monday” or “Throwback Thursday.” I do a It’s Finally Friday series every week and I participate in a 10 on the 10th every month with other bloggers.
Behind-the-scenes content: Share exclusive glimpses into your process or daily life.

Just remember building a community takes time it won’t happen overnight.
