Black Friday promotion ideas for photograph

Black Friday is almost here. I used to go into stores on Black Friday like a fool and shop for all the things, only to realize that it’s really not a sale or I simply don’t need it. With that being said, if you own a small business that provides a product or a service, you may want to offer some promotions that will bring you some clients or get your product selling in some new ways. Here are some black Friday promotion ideas for photography (and you can definitely use them for any business).

  1. Limited edition story package – Maybe tell their story for a year with photoshoots that capture big moments and offer about 3 sessions that vary. It could be a family photo, then a child’s birthday photo, then maybe a party of some type. Mix it up, but follow the family for a year and offer a one-time price package for that.
  2. Create a game leading up to black friday called Daily Deals. For photography, I can say today’s deal is half off a family shoot for next month. A 15-minute headshot deal for next week. Taking your next birthday party photos deal. Whatever you want, create fun deals that people need.
  3. Partner with influencers – I know the big ones may not work with you but the smaller ones maybe offer to do some photoshoots for them for free in exchange for them promoting your business. You can say calling all Influencers this Black Friday I have a deal for you comment what’s the deal, and then maybe talk to them behind the scenes about it.
  4. Donate to a cause with every purchase – You do a photoshoot and donate 10% to a cause of their choosing for every shoot they do.
  5. Gift a session – Buy one session at full price, get a mini session (keep it at 30 mintues) for free. This can also be a refer and reward type of thing. Book a session, refer me to someone else, and if they book and pay, your next session is free on me. (I have done this a lot and it works)
  6. Black Friday weekend mini sessions – To your loyal clients or those on your email list. Offer them a 30-minute session for the holidays with a themed holiday session that’s exclusive just for them with a discount. This makes them feel exclusive, and it’s one of a kind.
  7. Partner with a print company – Let’s say you work with a print company, ask them if you can offer your clients a discount code and then offer the print and preserve package just for black Friday,y where if they book with you they can also print their photos at a discounted price. This helps you out and the company that is printing.

Those are just a few ideas to help you promote your black Friday sales and get some customers. You can use these for any holiday too.
