I’m a few minutes late for this post but I’m back for the prompt that I always do on the 10th of each month. It’s become one of the things I look forward too. I join in with Marsha and do these prompts because it reminds me of the old school blogging where we used to read each others blog post and write things. I miss the good ole days but I’m going to hold on to what I can of it and do this prompt every month on the 10th. You should join us! It’s Summer and there was an old saying back in the day clled the dog days of Summer…basically it meant it was hot. While we are on the subject of dogs….
I don’t like em. My kids want a dog so badly but I know them and I would have to upkeep the care of the dog and I’m not doing it. I refuse to get up to walk the dog or pick up the shat. My kids will do it when the dog first comes but I know my kids they will burn out real quick. They can get a dog when they get their own place to live. For this prompt, I’m supposed to tell you about my favorite dogs. I don’t have any but I’ll name a few that peek my interest….
The boxer – the hubs had one. He even had a tattoo of it on his arm. He loved boxers but we had to sell it because at the time we couldn’t afford to upkeep the dog and put food on our table. He cried as a grown man and it was tough decision but he made it and I wish he was alive today because I would get him that dog back (he would take care of it)
Scottish Terrier – My mom used to have clothes that had this dog on it. She called it the scottish dog and you know how some people identify with animals or collect things that have certain animals or flowers on them. This was one my mom collected. If she saw anything with a scottish dog on it she would buy it.
Akita dog – I was like oh wow a dog with my name (Kita) I loved it and always thought it would be cool to have a dog named Kita lol
Cane Corso – My daughter wants this dog. I told her if she gets it she better train it not to get me cause this is a big dog.
Pomeranian – My daughters friend has this and everytime we go over to the house it stares at me. It must have beef with me.
Collie – I think this was the lassie dog. I loved that movie as a kid. This dog seems so friendly and smart.
Dalmations – Of course I love the movie but I also love the spots. It’s the dog that stands out the most to me. I used to call it a cow when I was little lol.
Bulldog – I think these are the cutest as a puppy. I also think they are the most chill dog.
German Shepherd – I need a good gaurd dog and I think they will be the best at it.
Great Dane – If I were to buy a dog, this would be the one I would get.
I hope you are staying cool this summer!

I am so glad you like doing this, Kita!! I love your answers because they almost always make me laugh! I completely forgot the Cane Corso. In our old neighborhood, one of the guys had one. Those things are huge, but I think I’d like it except for feeding it, cleaning up after it, and all those things. I wonder if they’re good cuddle bugs! I hope you’ll link up with me!
