It has been raining 40 days and 40 nights here in Atlanta and this is the first time in about 2 weeks it hasn’t rain. TGIF! We made it…le’ts all say Amen. How many folks did you cuss out this week? How many times did God surprise you this week? We are back with our series It’s Finally Friday where I dive into articles, tv shoes, movies, etc, with my opinion and my top 3 of the week. If you missed the last one you can check it out here. This week we are talking about thee Simone Biles. It’s Finally Friday, August 2nd let’s get into it.
I watched the documentary on Netflix. I was so against her husband when he said what he said but after watching the documentary I realize I was a little harsh on him he might do love her just a lil. For context I asked my son who Simone Biles was and he didn’t know either. He said he saw her face but didn’t know who she was so he also doesn’t know who the goat is. These men don’t pay attention for shat. Anywhoo I love her but in my era there was Dominque Dawes. Still love her to this day and my late hubs had a huge crush on her. He met her once and I thought he was going to leave me right then and there. Love Simone for taking time for her mental health which is very important no matter who you are. You get to create the life you want and you can do it your way. Congrats to her and the entire team!

Barbecue Showdown – I’m not a pro on the grill the fire used to scare me a few years ago but these days you might find me on there often
Unsolved Mysteries – my mom watched this when I was little and I had nightmares…yet I watch it.
Queer Eye – Every episode makes me cry and I’m sad Bobby is gone but in his place is my other fav Jeremiah (sag in the house)

Dominique Dawes was my girl!! I used to love to watch her fly. I don’t watch gymnastics as often as I used to do, but I do keep up with Simone Biles. She’s incredible.
Unsolved Mysteries used to creep me out. My friends and I used to joke that Robert Stack {the original host} was responsible for all that crazy — the fog, his creepy voice, everything.
