It’s Finally Friday is a space where I talk about an article or movie and then do 3 of my top favorites. This week we are talking about a new school in Tampa that I think is needed everywhere.
My son doesn’t want to do college and I told him he didn’t have to. I think trade schools need to make a comeback to give kids alternatives to other things besides the norm. I told my son he will take up a trade and he can pick plumbing, electricity, mechanic or something that is much needed in today’s world. I had to get a pipe fixed for my hot water heater. The labor alone was 500 bucks and the guy took 15 min at tops to put it together. I told my son he better get with the program. This school in Tampa is giving kids an alternative so that they can learn the skills they need early.

Favorite hotels (southeast edition)
Loews Hotel – I’ve stayed in a few but the one in Atlanta is a must. If anyone wants me to recommend a hotel this one is it. They will make accommodations for you and anything you need they got it.
JW Marriott in Savannah – If I go to Savannah I’m staying here. Rooms are small but the atmosphere and close proximity to all the fun stuff makes it ok to have the small rooms
Residences at Sweetgrass Inn – Right on the beach and it holds large families. I stayed in one with 10 people and we were comfortable.
