Permanent Jewelry in Atlanta

I’m a jewelry girl! Since my birthday is so close to Christmas, my mom would always ask me do you want gifts for your birthday or would you rather wait til Christmas. I would always choose Christmas but she did gift me a piece of jewelry every birthday. Real jewelry that I still have (about 70%) to this day. Some can’t fit me anymore, but they haven’t turned and it’s still good as gold. I saw on ticky tocky the other day someone getting permanent jewelry in Texas, and I thought hmmm I know someone does it in Atlanta and yep, they sure do. My daughter and I went and got some bracelets done. Come with us as we get permanent jewelry in Atlanta.

The place we went to is called Nadora Sky. For those of you who are on my Instagram (It’s Private, but you are welcome to join it if you ain’t crazy), I did a video of our experience on there. It’s also up on my TikTok (@kita.bryant on there).

Customer service was excellent and the staff was great. I enjoyed the entire experience.

You pick what you want.

They have anklets – I didn’t want those because I felt they would irritate me in the winter with my boots on

They have necklaces – I am not a huge fan of fake necklaces for a long period of time around my neck. I tend to sweat there a lot and I also like to switch up my necklaces often. Plus, your neck is usually the first thing people look at when they look at you, and then bracelets last. So I am careful about what I put around my neck when it comes to styles I wear.

Then they have bracelets – Less bothersome for me, and I don’t mind my arm having jewelry that isn’t real.

Now the jewelry is gold-plated so they should last a while but as always make sure you test things for your skin first. Everyone reacts to things differently.

I got my bracelets on my left arm, which is not my dominant hand. I feel that arm isn’t used as much unless I’m typing, which I am with this post (I pushed the bracelets tighter up so they don’t make a dragging noise as I type) and it doesn’t bother me.

I got a few questions about the experience, and as always I keep it honest.

  1. How much is it? Expensive…..For fake jewelry, it was quite a lot but the price depends on what you want. It starts at a base of $85, and then you work up from there. The total we paid for our two bracelets was over $300, but that’s because we got charms. You do not have to get anything extra. So you can get a permanent bracelet for less than 100 bucks. Also, they didn’t pressure us into buying more, so that was a relief. You know how you can go to some places and they try to get you to buy more this spot didn’t.
  2. What if you have to have an MRI or go through security? I asked this question. They have the info on their website, but in a nutshell, you can take them off. You must cut the link that keeps the welding part of the bracelet together. They will show you when you go, so make sure you take a picture so you don’t forget. Cut it with a nail clipper, and they will weld it back together for you for free, but make sure you cut it where they said and keep your receipt. Don’t cut some place else or snag it and say Oops, it broke and then get mad when they don’t fix it for free. Study and know the rules before you get it put on you.
  3. Is it for kids? My daughter is 16 I would get it for a 12 year old but nothing below that. My daughter did complain about it the first night because she isn’t used to having jewelry on all the time and she kept messing with it but she said it was good for her because she fidgets a lot and she knows she will always be somewhat put together with jewelry every time she walks out the door. She has had it for 3 days as of this post, and she says she barely notices it now just those first few days it was odd for her.
  4. Let’s circle back to security at airports – I don’t travel through airports much, but it shouldn’t set off any alarm bells because it’s not magnetic, so you shouldn’t have to take it off. I went through TSA and didn’t have to take my other stuff off, but it depends on the jewelry and maybe the person in security, so if you have to take it off, just remember to cut where you are supposed to cut and then get it fixed when you get back.
  5. What’s the most expensive jewelry? The necklace, I believe, was the most money the bracelets were cheaper. They have different prices based on what you want. A small dainty bracelet will be $85, and the chain length bracelet (which to me is sturdier) will be more. I got a dianty one and a sturdy one.
  6. Why did you get it? Was it a special occasion, like a birthday? No, I got it because I wanted it. Once I saw the prices, I told my daughter this is an early Christmas present and for me an early birthday present. I got my kids birthstones on my bracelet the sturdy braclet I got my sons because he is a young man and my daughter is a pretty princess, so I got her birthstone on the dainty one.
  7. Does this make a great gift? Yes! You can gift this to your kids, have a mother or daughter day out of it, get you and your friends true friendship bracelets, memorialize someone special in your life or get one just because. My daughter wanted to honor my mother whom she had never met so she got her birthstone on her bracelet.

They have odd hrs here in Atlanta and I would make a reservation before you go but I think this is less pain than a tattoo and you can change your mind about it if you don’t want it after a while take it off and get it put back on at another time. Overall I would say this experience is so nice and different and it doesn’t have a huge commitment level to it.

Have you gotten them done? Any questions I missed, sound off in the comments, and I’ll do my best to answer them.
