Four Platforms to Use to Find Creative Shots for Your Next Shoot

Platforms to use to find creative shots

We all know of Pinterest but it’s not the only platform to use to find creative shots. As a photographer, I am always looking for unique inspirations for my clients. When I take on a client and I find out what they want to do for that particular photo shoot I hunt down a few photos that we don’t follow to a tee but that give me an idea of how and what I want to shoot my way.

Of course, Pinterest is number one. Do a secret board and share the link with your client to make sure you all are on the same page.

Another great tool to check out is Google Images. Even though it’s not wise to use these photos on your blog or in marketing pieces since you will need to obtain the license, there is nothing wrong with looking to get new ideas for cool shots. Using this site is straightforward. Put a term in the search box and up pops ideas from around the world. Test out various search terms to ensure you are pulling the best results for what you need.

We heart it is one you may not have heard of. I discovered this one from one of my senior clients. She loves this site to look at pictures and some of them she recreates. I also love this site it reminds me of the old Instagram before they tried to become tik tok lol.

Bēhance is another hidden gem, similar to We Heart It, where there are a plethora of visuals to get your creativity flowing. This platform gives you more ideas for product shots than daily personal photo logs. You can create an account and start a mood board for your projects, which you can also share with others.
