supporting small businesses

supporting small businesses

I love small businesses. I think it’s because my mom had one and I always hate when big corporations come in and take over and knock the smaller companies out. I also love when big businesses like target collaborate with smaller businesses that’s a win also. Here is how you can support small businesses

Tag them on social media. That tag goes a long way. If you bought something try even to share what you bought. I know that influencers get paid but you can be like Keith on tik tok and just do it to help others especially if its a business you would buy from anyway

Leave a good review. You may not have liked the wait time but was it worth the wait? Say that in your review.

Comment, like, and subscribe on their social channels. If you really love a business they will love when you follow them and actually engage. Who knows you may end up being a spokesperson for them one day.

Sign up for their newsletters. I know we all hate them, especially the ones that come out a lot but most small businesses don’t hit that email inbox that often, and when they do it’s worth it. For example, I only come out twice a month randomly and all of my newsletters have a freebie inside.

Participate in local events: festivals that showcase those businesses and farmers’ markets. A great one is Market wagon. See if they have one local to your area.

Word of mouth still works. Tell everyone you know about a small business that you love.

Use certain words, certain fonts, and certain colors…people will know it’s you in an instant, and its sticks out so even if people don’t know your business name they will know something about your business.
