Welp…Thanksgiving is over. That was nice. I’m always grateful and thankful and this Thanksgiving I spent the day eating Hibachi and working my day job. I know that a lot of folks went for the sales for Black Friday but I just didn’t see anything I liked and then I saw on Tik Tok that a lot of the large stores were covering the real prices with the new price which in fact was the original price to begin with. So the original price of something was 299 and then the new price tage said 299 marked from 499 chile buy tik tok exposed that ass. So what did I buy over the weekend? A few things from small businesses and things that were needed. Here is my list below for myself and my kids.
For me:
I bought some lounge wear. So here is my confession….I wear old ratty tshirts to bed and I have only 2 matching pajamas. I said to myself I’m getting older now I need to elevate and actually buy some cute lounge clothes which I didn’t buy during the pandemic. I bought a few skim pieces but I also love Fancy Homebody. Her stuff is good quality. Now here is what I don’t like if you a big girl get in fast and get your colors cause she sells out quickly. I was able to score a few things but 3 things that I wanted were out of my size I wasn’t fast enough. I also bought some smell goods from Body butter Bakery. Her stuff smells good but the shipping is off sometimes. I only order during the Fall and Winter months she seems to not send as fast during the Summer so be careful when you order. That’s it for me. I booked a trip for after the holidays that will double as my birthday trip so I’m good.
For my teen daughter (she is 14)
Fabfitfun box. It’s a great gift to give for the holidays for girls. It’s a great box that is filled with things at a discount price and they get to pick their stuff themselves. I admit sometimes I will add what I want to the box and she gets mad but she will be aight. I bought her some perfume she wanted the Gucci one ( I bought her the sample first to make sure she liked it). I also bought her some Skylar that’s clean and she loves to put this on at night. She got a few outfits and a wallet and then I paid for her to experience Cirque Du Solei here in Atlanta. I like the gift of experience. I will slide her some funds and a Starbucks Card and that’s about it.
For my Son (he is 17 about to be grown)
I’m getting his car window tinted and buying him some shirts from Merchbar (a graphics shirt company). I will slide him some money and I bought him a razor kit cause he got that beard coming in and it looks unruly. That’s it. I kept it simple cause what does he need? He has a phone, a computer, a car, etc. I’m not buying a bunch of stuff just to have things under the tree.
