We are back with our Finally Friday series. We have been having fun over here and on social since I’ve been asking the same question on my Instagram. If you are new this is a place where I share my thoughts on a movie, article, or something that caught my eye on the internet. Then we get into my top 3 things of the week which are sometimes random and sometimes thought about carefully. This week we dive into a tik tok that I saw. I am on tik tok but not on it. I will look at a few folks when I sit (twice a week) and then I’m out. It’s the same thing repeatedly for me but when I see something different I tend to get excited.
This is the video on tik tok—such a deep perspective. Growing up my mom never took just my side of the story. She would always say there is your side from your perspective and then there is another side from a different perspective. You both could be right or wrong or one person right and the other wrong but I need to hear both sides to make a decision. I remember when teachers would say things about me and I would say that’s not what happened. My mom never believed any of us she would say I wasn’t here so both of you are lying. If I didn’t see it with my own eyes or it’s not on video…I don’t believe any of you.
So growing up I was always under the impression that there are 3 sides to a story. Your side, my side, and the truth. The truth is somewhere in the middle of both sides of the story. I also always look at the messenger. The person who is telling the story who always has a story about other people who did them wrong…those are the people I take a closer look at when it comes to what they are saying. I love this perspective and it teaches that we need to hear both sides to make a conclusion just don’t run with one person. Also, communication is key it’s so important to have.

Butterfinger – If you love me then you will pick me up a bar every now and then…check the dates though a lot of stores don’t sell this one quickly and it’s always spoiled gotta have the right crunch to not be stale.
