A few years ago I wanted to speak at a conference and I submitted what I wanted to speak about. Regular people and how we don’t have the social media stats or the numbers or the accolades, but we were still making money, still thriving, but no one sees us. The underdogs, the ones who aren’t seen, the ordinary folks that is who I am. I’m regular but people see numbers and think oh she doesn’t have a lot of followers so she must not be that good. I will say this I have worked with people who have had huge follolwings and I’ve gotten scammed. I actually trust the smaller numbers better especially if they have a great track record or recommended to me personally. With all that being said I saw this opportunity on threads to speak at a summit for ordinary folks and I said Ihave to be a part of it…and I am. Welcome to the Ordinary Summit a place where ordinary people thrive and share info about their behind the scenes process to help you be excellent at whatever it is that you do.
I along with others will be speaking at this summit about business. There are some amazing speakers lined up.
Topics include:
- Rebuilding Your Business After Going Quiet
- Using a Cash Reserves Account and Emergency Fund
- Running Your Business + Ignoring All The “Rules”
- How I Use Threads to Book My Retainer Services
- “Build Your High-Converting Opt-In Page” Workshop
And so much more!
You can find out more here.
Now what will I be talking about?
How to Land Clients Without Being on Social Media with Kita Bryant (she/her)
Kita Bryant is pulling back the curtain on how she stays fully booked—without chasing likes, posting every day, or even showing much of her work on social media. In this session, she’ll share the simple (but powerful) strategies that keep clients coming in, even while she’s juggling mom life, a full-time job, and running a t-shirt business. If you’ve ever wondered whether it’s possible to build a profitable business without being ‘always on’ online, Kita’s here to prove that it is—and to show you how to make it work for you.
Join us in October for this event featuring business owners who are passionate about their businesses and how you can succeed, even if you are one of the regular, everyday people.
P.S. Did I mention it’s virtual
